Nuremberg, 29. Mai 2020 – Three months ago the good will network United Hearts celebrated their founding with a successful opening event “United Hearts Gala”. At that night, the high society of Berlin as well as celebrities like Jamie Cullum, Anja Kling, Jürgen Vogel, Kostja Ullmann, Patricia Kelly, Monica Ivancan, Jennifer Knäble, Franziska Knuppe, Motsi Mabuse, Leslie Mandoki gathered at the opulent hall of Titanic Hotel Gendarmenmarkt. Not to be missed were also of course the OJESH brand ambassadors, Gitta Saxx and Lorena Grießinger. Among the star-studded guests was also Hollywood star and Oscar winner Helen Mirren, whose presence made the event all the more unforgettable.

OJESH was a proud premium partner of the event, which was organized to raise funds for Die Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe.

Organizer Sedef Aygün and the guests of the gala still enthuse about the event till today, where they celebrated until early in the morning with patroness Liz Mon.

“Even till today my team and I receive messages about how great the evening was”, said Sedef Aygün, “We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback. We are very grateful that we could welcome Liz Mohn to our first United Hearts Gala and that we had the chance to support the important work of Die Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe.”

Apart from OJESH, many other global players in the industry supported the event, including the event management company Gahrens & Battermann and the British luxury-car manufacturer Jaguar, whose electric model I-PACE was the official automobile partner of the event. Brands such as Juvia, Douglas and Ruinart and Belvedere also supported the event.

“As soon as our first conversation about the event, we were already very enthusiastic about the social engagement and the star-studded guest list. But more importantly, we see it as our responsibility to support such a noble cause – Strokes are an important topic. Who would have thought that by the time the event took place, an unprecedented lock-down that would completely change our habits and paralyze our social life was just on our doorsteps? With much delight we considered the event as a gift. We are very grateful and proud, that OJESH contributed to the successful realization of the project as a platinum sponsor, which was fantastically organized by Miss Ayguen and her team”, said Stefan Leitz, Director of Marketing and Sales at OJESH.

It is responsible for the development, manufacturing and distribution of the young but up-and-coming beauty brand OJESH.

The idea for United Hearts came from Sedef Aygün after meeting Liz Mohn, who is dedicated to charitable causes with tireless personal commitment and endless dedication. “It was extremely inspiring and motivating”, she recalled her first meeting with the chairwoman of the Bertelsmann management company, the largest media and service company in Europe. “Liz Mohn was a real role model for me right away. After we got to know each other, I spontaneously wanted to be more active in the service of various charitable projects – especially since I also saw a great interest in my network of business partners and friends in doing “more” together. This is exactly what United Hearts is committed to. The charity platform intends to initiate activities in the coming years, which range from the development and financial support of educational programs and personal grants to the implementation of events in the spirit of charitable organizations or initiatives. A mentorship club should also serve as a platform for a supportive network of women for women.

United Hearts Gala, which is held annually to date, is the most important event of the network and will focus on a different charitable cause each year.

About the German Stroke Foundation (Die Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe)

Almost 270,000 people suffer a stroke in Germany every year. The disease is the third leading cause of death in Germany and the most common reason for disabilities in adulthood. The German Stroke Foundation was founded in 1993 by Liz Mohn. Independent and committed to the common good, it is dedicated to preventing strokes and helping those affected. It develops innovative care concepts and, through the certification of stroke special units, so-called stroke units, makes a decisive contribution to improving the quality of care for stroke patients.
